OW was Zach Fields (Camden Hills 125) who handed Matt DelGallo his first in-state loss in 4 yrs. by running up a 13-5 score before pinning DelGallo at 4:59 in the Finals. Very deserving! DelGallo's career record was something like 146-6 before this bout.
Jeff Cole (OR 130) won a very close Finals bout in the Ultimate Tiebreaker 6-4 over #1 seed Mike McNamara (Lisbon). Some excellent scrambling made the difference, thanks once again to The Barn training.
Boomer Kaplan (Franklin 285) went in as the #3 seed and pinned the #1 S. Johnson (Wells) in the Finals in 1:00. Matt did have a very close 3-2 bout in the semis with another good heavyweight wrestler from Mt. Ararat, Chandler. Somebody's got to tell Boomer to stop picking up these other heavyweights and carrying them around the mat: it's not good for their psyches!
Other NH wrestlers doing well were Dylan Ryan (Exeter 189, 3rd), Earl Brady (White Mts 160, 4th), Corey Laflamme (White Mts 130, 5th), Carlton Kleinschrodt (White Mts 112, 6th).
