Vermont Wrestling

If you look at my previous posts, I came pretty close (closer than I had expected really considering I didn't have a lot of information go on from the north). 

MAU decisively wins its 22nd consecutive state title with 318.5 points, (which may be the highest point total for the Patriots yet) Spaulding was 2nd with 153.5. 

Overall Vermont Wrestling numbers were way up this year.  The depth of the competition was much better than I have seen in years.  29 of 42 (top three) place finishers and 9 of the 14 champions all return next year.  This was a great year for Vermont Wrestling!  Keep up the hard work and off-season stuff.  Good luck to all @ New England’s.  Remember, at New England’s we all come together as a state and support each other!

the Stratton Wyant match was great both kids left everything on the mat Kyle won last year and Stratton won this year good for him both are great kids and great wrestlers MAU112 didn't get to congrat you on your sons win so congrats to you, i did get to say it to your son you must be very proude.One point for grabbing head gear didn't loose the match !
