How was Webster given the 1 spot he hasnt earned it this is his 1st year of real expirience in my mind hes a little overated top 5 pund for pound HAHAH secondly i think the schramm/eddie race will be a good one but imo no matter how much it hurts me to say an MAU kid will win it i think Schramm will be the state champ there

Finally some life on the web site!  Webster has 2 losses this year against out of state opponants (a highly ranked NH and NY kid).  With the varsity schedule that MAU "B" wrestles I would guess he has wrestled as many or more varsity matches leading up to this season than any of the other ranked VT wrestlers.  He has certainlly earned his spot this year finishing 1st in Alabama, Methuen, MA and at the Eagle Classic in CT.  He has already beat Bosch (by pin I think) and also the Essex kid at the North/South duals.

As for the pound for pound, I was hoping that would get a pulse going on the web site!  That is a lot of pounds when going pound for pound!

in looking at the season at 152, ashley-selleck should be the no 1. at 37-1 undefeated in vt, ny. he beat warrensburg in granville finals and warrensburg beat grammo at saranac. grammo was pinned by muhs odell at 145 early season. as well grammo has allowed points to bilodeau and perrot and ashley-selleck gave up none to perrot a 7-0 match and 13-1 with bilodeau. last year is last year, you must go on this years accomplishments. as well ashley-selleck beat peru 145 sectional finalist from last yr at 152 this yr with a pin and beat 12-1 northern adirondack ny 152 who is undefeated in his section with a 38-4 record after mt mans tnmnt. and as for him not being lb for lb tough! you might want to re think! it took mitchell 4 ot's to beat a sectional finalist from last yr! ashley from muhs has made him earn his wins, get real! price would have beat him last yr, and smith as we know did beat him. lb for lb? he is good but i dont think so. ashley-selleck is eating up the competition. not having him as a lb for lb best wrestler, well its kind of like those who underestimated the saints. you will be left scratching your head!

Good argument but when you add him who are you gonna take away Hes not a better wrestler than Bradley, Rich, Mitchell, Webster, or Even Price i mean if you add him to top 5 lb for lb youd be taking off a wrestler that also deserves to be on that list so maybe if this list went to 6 or 7 you can add him but you cant take away what any of these kids have done especcialy wrestling a cupcake of a scheduale
